Front-End Developer

We are a cutting-edge fintech company delivering innovative SaaS products to streamline and facilitate trades in the mortgage banking space. As we expand our platform, we are looking for a talented and motivated Front-End Associate Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will collaborate with senior developers to design, build, and maintain dynamic web applications using modern front-end technologies. You will be primarily responsible for implementing user interfaces with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior developer looking to grow their skills in web development, particularly with React and related tools.

Responsibilities:

·        Develop responsive, high-quality web applications using React.js and JavaScript (ES6+).

·        Collaborate with design teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into interactive and visually appealing user interfaces.

·        Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs by working closely with back-end developers.

·        Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following modern best practices.

·        Implement front-end state management solutions (e.g., Redux or React’s built-in Context API).

·        Optimize applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

·        Utilize tools such as Webpack or Vite for bundling and module management.

·        Participate in code reviews and team meetings, offering suggestions to improve workflows and best practices.

·        Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing front-end code to enhance user experience.

·        Learn and adapt to new front-end technologies as required by project demands.

Requirements:

·        1-3 years of experience in front-end development, ideally with React.js.

·        Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

·        Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

·        Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into front-end applications.

·        Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Babel.

·        Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Next.js or Gatsby is a plus.

·        Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

·        Exposure to CSS-in-JS solutions such as Styled Components or Emotion.

·        Familiarity with common front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a bonus.

·        Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with front-end deployment pipelines and tools such as Netlify, Vercel, or CI/CD systems.

·        Strong understanding of TypeScript for front-end development.

·        Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

·        Familiarity with UI frameworks like Material-UI or TailwindCSS.
