💼 About the Role
As the Senior Technical Lead, you'll act as the Head of Engineering, leading the charge in shaping and scaling the engineering operations while driving the development of a robust infrastructure for a seamless user experience. This role is a mix of management and hands-on coding (70/30), requiring both strategic oversight and deep technical expertise. You'll be responsible for building and leading high-performing teams, launching innovative products, and ensuring well-managed distributed systems support long-term growth. Your responsibilities will fall under 3 key areas:
1️⃣ Technical Leadership
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical discussions to align team efforts and priorities.
- Define and drive release strategies, infrastructurescaling, and cross-functional initiatives with key stakeholders.
- Remove technical blockers and guide the team through challenges to maintain productivity and momentum.
2️⃣ Product Delivery
- Develop and optimise infrastructure for scalability, performance, and product delivery.
- Oversee end-to-end releasemanagement, ensuring smooth deployments and a stable production environment.
- Collaborate with QA to strengthen product quality, resilience, and testing workflows.
3️⃣ Engineering Excellence
- Implement security, compliance, and CI/CD best practices to support scalability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure systemreliability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and postmortemanalysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in codequality, documentation, and engineering communication standards.

- Skilled in backend performance optimisation, system reliability, and incident response.
- Experience with scalable infrastructure, CI/CD improvements, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
