Job DescriptionAbout the department Our agile Development team are responsible for building internal and client-facing applications, including research, data, analytics and interactive investment tools. About The Role We have an entry level position in one of our teams for a Junior Software Engineer. You will get stuck in with all aspects of development. Everyone on the team is expected to take part in: planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, dev-ops and support. We are looking for someone who shares our beliefs and aims, and our passion for developing. Above all we want a candidate looking to make a meaningful contribution to our team and for our business. • Have a solid comprehension of software design principles and models
• Are experienced with C# and ideally .NET Core
• Have familiarity with databases such as SQL Server or MongoDB
• Have some knowledge of a frontend Typescript framework (ideally React)
• Have an understanding of automated testing techniques
• Are familiar with Agile working concepts

It would be great if you also

• Have experience building microservices
• Have experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Have experience with DevOps
