Our client is an established B2B organization in the middle of a company-wide digital transformation focused on modernizing how they build internal tools, customer-facing applications, and AI-powered digital experiences. This role is a key contributor to that effort and will directly shape how modern digital products are delivered across the business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-ownership senior role for a full-stack engineer who can lead on the front end. You will design and build modern web applications from the ground up, help shape engineering standards and patterns, and directly influence the future state of the org's digital platform. You will have guidance and support, but we are looking for a true self-starter: someone with a strong sense of urgency, accountability for outcomes, and hunger to constantly improve things without being told what to do next.

What You Will Work On

• Near-term: A largely greenfield internal CRM and productivity insights platform replacing a legacy system. Real business impact from day one.
• Next up: A customer-facing agentic development platform for IT transformations, tailored to each user's industry. This is where the AI-forward roadmap lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve modern web applications for both internal teams and external customers.
• Lead on the front end while owning full-stack delivery across Next.js, React, Node.js, SQL, APIs, and cloud services.
• Own the full development lifecycle: technical specs, planning and estimation, implementation, QA, and production support.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Claude to move faster and raise code quality.
• Build and integrate AI-enabled features, including early agentic systems, and proactively identify opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways.
• Design clean, scalable data models and contribute to data pipelines and integrations, anticipating future needs rather than just current requirements.
• Develop and consume REST and event-based APIs with an ownership mindset around reliability and maintainability.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and push for clarity to make sure the right problems are being solved.
• Take initiative to improve solutions beyond the original request when there is clear business or user value.
• Flex across initiatives as priorities evolve, stepping into gaps and new challenges as needed.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a track record of shipping production applications, not just contributing to isolated components.
• Strong web application development experience (primary focus), complemented by website development experience (CMS/HTML).
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and Node.js.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, or similar) as part of daily workflows.
• B2B product background preferred (services experience is okay, but product is the priority).
• Self-starter mindset: strong bias toward action, personal accountability for outcomes, and a visible sense of urgency and hunger.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to agentic systems or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience migrating off or replacing legacy CRM platforms.
• Background in complex B2B domains.
