Position Summary
We are seeking a Technical Software Engineering Manager with a strong frontend and mobile engineering background to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern web and mobile applications. This role is best suited for a hands-on technical lead who remains actively involved in coding, architecture decisions, and code reviews while mentoring engineers and guiding delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in React and React Native, recent technical leadership experience, and the ability to work effectively in an enterprise product environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead web and mobile engineering efforts across modern customer-facing digital products
- Remain hands-on in application development, architecture, debugging, and code review
- Guide engineering teams on frontend and mobile best practices using React and React Native
- Partner with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
- Make architecture and implementation decisions that support scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Support API integration and collaboration across frontend and backend services
- Establish and reinforce engineering best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across the software development lifecycle
- Help drive modernization efforts across web/mobile platforms in a structured enterprise environment
- Contribute to release quality, production readiness, and ongoing technical improvement
Required Experience
- 10 to 14 years of total software engineering experience
- Strong recent hands-on experience with both React and React Native
- Technical Lead experience within the last 3 years
- Ongoing involvement in architecture decisions and code reviews
- Experience leading engineers technically while remaining close to implementation
- Experience delivering modern digital applications in enterprise environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
