Full-Stack Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with at least 15 years of experience, who will join an EU Insitution in The Hague (fully remotely).

roles and Responsibilities:

• Write web frontend code in Vue.js JavaScript framework. Other JavaScript frameworks (like React) knowledge is a plus.

• Write front-end and back-end unit tests.

• Manage the front-end build configuration and the appropriate npm tasks.

• Work with Typescript and modern web development.

• Write CSS and HTML by using SASS.

• Participate in the .NET implementation of a micro-services solution, being able to write backend code in a reliable, scalable, secure and testable way, implementing resilient integrations, satisfying requirements and service level agreements.

• Implement validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests for both back-end and front-end code.

• Implement OAUTH authentication mechanisms.

• Write and maintain technical documentation of the solution implemented. Account for secure coding practices, as well as logging and auditing features.

• Communicate in a clean, concise way, not only to peers but to upper layers when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end development using Microsoft .NET (C#) and .NET Core
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Front-End Development with Vue.js and TypeScript
• Experience working on at least 2 production-ready web projects using Vue.js
• Experience developing production-ready REST API services using ASP.NET Core and/or .NET 8+
• Experience implementing front-end unit tests in production projects
• Experience implementing OAuth authentication mechanisms in production environments
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing highly scalable systems and microservices
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing applications using AMQP messaging (publishing and consuming messages, routing, queuing, error handling)
• Strong knowledge of Vue.js and TypeScript for front-end development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SASS for web component development
• Good knowledge of back-end development concepts including REST APIs, integration patterns, and microservices
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core, including use of design patterns
• Good knowledge of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server (schema design, procedural scripting)
• Excellent knowledge of Git and version control best practices
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices
• Strong understanding of secure software design principles
• Experience writing unit and integration tests for both front-end and back-end
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation for full stack solutions
• Experience managing front-end build configurations and npm tasks
• Ability to work with modern web development tools and TypeScript
• Relevant higher education degree in IT or a related field

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments
• Strong ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and stakeholders

EU citizenship is required for security clearance.
