We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives in AWS-first environments and wants to build scalable, reliable systems that power meaningful, real-world solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS (heavily AWS-focused environment)
• Develop full stack features across React/TypeScript frontends and Python-based backend services
• Architect and deploy containerized services (ECS/Fargate, ECR) and serverless solutions (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Own and drive technical architecture and system design decisions across services and applications
• Build and optimize data pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark) and Step Functions
• Lead development of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and compliant in a HIPAA-regulated environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across the team

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience building cloud-native applications in AWS (required)
• Deep understanding of AWS services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, Redshift, Glue, Step Functions)
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript (~25%)
• Backend expertise in Python and REST APIs (~75%)
• Prior healthcare experience is a must
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Strong SQL and relational database experience
• Proven ability to contribute to system design and architecture decisions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with HIPAA / PHI compliance requirements
• Experience with Apache Iceberg or modern data lake technologies
• AWS certifications
