About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team at GrabJobs. In this full-time position, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive web applications that support our innovative recruitment solutions. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, you will translate complex business requirements into technical solutions that drive our platform forward. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical applications, utilizing the latest cloud technologies and development practices to deliver impactful results.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of full-stack development experience, demonstrating a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges. You should have proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with significant experience in React and Node.js. Hands-on experience deploying and managing serverless applications within AWS is essential, along with familiarity with various AWS services such as Amplify, EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, and RDS. You should have a solid understanding of building and maintaining mission-critical applications at scale, working with large data sets, and optimizing system performance. Additional qualifications include experience with web services, database integration, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and security best practices. Familiarity with healthcare technology, OCR, document management systems, AI/ML, and other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud is a plus. Certifications in AWS or related fields are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications across the full technology stack, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate business needs into efficient technical solutions.
- Build and integrate APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Configure, deploy, and manage serverless applications and cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Work on mission-critical applications, ensuring high availability, security, and performance at scale.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to team members to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in defining the long-term technical strategy.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and efficiency, working with large data volumes.
- Ensure applications comply with security and data privacy regulations, especially in handling sensitive information.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality codebases.
- Stay current with emerging industry trends and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
