Software Engineering Intern (Unpaid) — Anyura
Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based)
Compensation: Unpaid
Schedule and duration: Flexible; weekly hours, start date, and duration will be discussed during interviews and agreed before the internship begins.
Mentorship: Guidance from a Senior Engineer
Anyura is building the AI-native operating system for medspas and aesthetic clinics, connecting scheduling, patient management, documentation, payments, and day-to-day operations.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern interested in developing full-stack engineering skills with guidance from a Senior Engineer. The internship scope and learning objectives will be discussed during interviews.
Areas to explore
• Frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Backend APIs, relational data models, and application workflows.
• Debugging, testing, Git, and code review practices.
• Using AI coding tools thoughtfully and checking the correctness of their output.
• Communicating technical questions, progress, and findings in a distributed team.
What we are looking for
• A foundation in programming through coursework, personal projects, or equivalent learning.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript; exposure to React is helpful.
• Strong communication, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
• Interest in full-stack software and AI-assisted development.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus for collaboration with our operations team in China.
