Areti Group is partnering with a high-growth technology organisation going through an exciting period of product expansion.
We’re looking for an exceptional Tech Lead to join a newly forming product team and take ownership of the technical direction, architecture and delivery of a brand-new product from the ground up.
This is a genuine hands-on Tech Lead position - ideal for someone who wants technical ownership and leadership responsibility without stepping away from the code.

You don't need experience across the entire stack - they're looking for strong object-oriented engineering fundamentals and the ability to work confidently with modern software architecture.
🎯 What You'll Be Doing
🔹 Owning the technical direction and architecture of a brand-new product
🔹 Leading by example through hands-on development
🔹 Making key architectural and technical decisions
🔹 Establishing high engineering standards around code quality, testing and automation
🔹 Working closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
🔹 Acting as the team's technical escalation point
🔹 Reviewing code and driving engineering best practice
🔹 Mentoring and developing engineers within the team
🔹 Helping take the product from early-stage development through to market launch
🔹 Working within 2-week Agile/Scrum sprints
🧠 What We're Looking For
✔️ Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer or Senior Software Engineer
✔️ Strong experience within a product engineering environment
✔️ Excellent hands-on software development skills
✔️ Strong understanding of architecture and system design
✔️ Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages
✔️ Experience mentoring, supporting or leading other engineers
✔️ Comfortable making technical decisions and trade-offs
✔️ Pragmatic, collaborative and commercially aware approach
✔️ Someone who enjoys building products rather than simply maintaining them
✨ Nice to Have
➕ Experience working across Ruby, TypeScript, Go, Python or PHP

➕ Experience taking products from concept through to production
