Junior to Intermediate Full Stack Java/Angular Developer

Bilana Tech is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. As a Software Engineer at Bilana Tech, you will play a crucial role in the creation and enhancement of our clients' products and services. You'll be an integral part of our Agile software development life cycle, contributing to the success of innovative projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Active Participation: Collaborate in the Agile Scrum development process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in line with the highest quality standards.
• Code Development: Create well-designed and efficient code that meets the specific requirements of each project.
• Unit Testing: Develop unit tests alongside your code to maintain product reliability and performance.
• Effective Communication: Share your progress, address challenges, and report any issues to foster effective teamwork.
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to the development and execution of test cases to thoroughly assess the codebase.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Java Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java-based microservice/cloud and/or web application development.
• Agile Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is essential.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of ORM frameworks like JPA and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), as well as NoSQL databases (e.g., ElasticSearch).
• Effective Skills: Exceptional time management and communication skills are a must.
• Remote Work Capability: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment, including independent work. A reliable high-speed internet connection is required for remote collaboration and screen sharing.
