Senior/Staff-level Fullstack Software Engineer
📍 Fully remote from anywhere in the USA
📍 Must already be living in the USA
We are working with a rapidly scaling, VC-backed FinTech company who are looking for Senior/Staff-level Software Engineers to join the team.
The Role
This is a highly hands-on engineering position where you will own complex projects from architecture through production.
You could be working on:
- Building and launching multi-step AI agents that automate complex financial workflows
- Designing integrations with lending, underwriting and fraud-prevention platforms
- Building and scaling high-throughput distributed systems on AWS
- Developing full-stack products using TypeScript, React and Node.js
- Improving platform reliability, observability and infrastructure
- Designing scalable PostgreSQL architectures for complex financial data
- Mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction
Engineers are encouraged to move quickly — with new hires typically shipping code to production from day one.
What We Are Looking For:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with substantial Senior/Staff-level experience
- Excellent, recent hands-on TypeScript expertise
- Strong full-stack engineering experience across React and Node.js
- Experience building and scaling distributed cloud systems
- Strong AWS experience
- Infrastructure-as-code experience, ideally Terraform
- Experience within high-growth, VC-backed technology companies or similarly strong product engineering environments
- Strong product mindset and ability to take ownership from design through deployment
- Good understanding of security, reliability and scalable system architecture
