UI/UX Designer (REACT)

JOB TITLE: UI/UX Engineer – React DeveloperLOCATION: Remote (preferred candidates near Southlake, TX or New Jersey)

DURATION: 12+ MONTHSABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a skilled UI/UX Engineer with strong React development experience to lead front-end development on a critical workflow and logistics management platform serving a major telecommunications organization. You'll own the design and implementation of a user-centric dashboard that tracks hardware logistics empowering operations teams to visualize order status, capacity planning, power allocation, and asset routing in real time.

This is an 80/20 front-end-to-back-end role where you'll translate complex operational data into intuitive, professional-grade interfaces while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and end users. You'll have the opportunity to grow with the platform as scope expands into financial reporting and analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build responsive, visually polished React applications with a strong emphasis on usability, clarity, and accessibility
• Develop self-service reporting and data visualization features that allow non-technical users to generate custom reports and insights without technical overhead
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deeply understand logistics and telecom domain workflows, then architect solutions that reflect real user needs
• Implement and manage state using Redux and integrate with Node.js back-end services
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and Python scripts to support data pipelines and analytics features
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Watson) to enhance development efficiency and user-facing capabilities
• Present solutions and gather feedback from non-technical stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
• Contribute to a scalable, maintainable codebase as the application expands in scope

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years of professional React development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, CSS, and Redux
• Solid UI/UX design sensibility — ability to evaluate and improve visual hierarchy, user flow, and accessibility
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and Node.js back-end services
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Python
• Comfortable working in a GitHub-based development workflow
• Excellent communication skills — able to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
• Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with a genuine commitment to product quality and user outcomes

PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3, Recharts, Chart.js, etc.)
• Background in telecom, data center operations, logistics, or supply chain
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure or virtualization platforms
• Experience using or integrating AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Watson) in a development workflow
• Financial data, reporting, or analytics experience
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence
• UI/UX prototyping tools such as Figma or similar
