About The Role This role focuses on building and evolving a platform system across backend services and frontend applications using .NET and modern web technologies. The position contributes to the reliability and maintainability of the system while supporting the introduction of new functionality and improvements to development practices. The role involves working within a large and established codebase, delivering improvements and new features across both frontend and backend layers while preserving the stability of the production platform. Success in this role requires a sense of ownership, solid technical judgment, and the ability to balance ongoing development with incremental improvements. Your background

• Strong professional experience building backend systems with C# and modern .NET
• Proven experience developing production-grade frontend applications with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of API design and evolution (REST and/or GraphQL), including performance and versioning concerns
• Solid grasp of software architecture and ability to navigate and improve large, existing codebases
• Experience operating systems in production, including monitoring, debugging, and incident resolution
• Familiarity with modern development practices (Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing)
• Experience with AWS and distributed systems at scale

Nice to have

• Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)
• Track record of improving performance or reliability in production systems

Your responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of backend services and frontend applications across the platform
• Deliver high-quality features end-to-end, from design to production, in a complex, business-critical system
• Design and evolve APIs (REST and GraphQL) with a focus on consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability
• Make pragmatic trade-offs to balance new feature delivery with system stability and technical debt reduction
• Improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in a cloud-based environment
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, driving root-cause fixes rather than temporary patches
• Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, refactoring, and improvements to development practices
• Work closely with Product to shape solutions, not just implement requirements
