Senior Product Engineer (Fullstack)
Job Description
Posted on: June 16, 2026
Clipster helps brands scale organic distribution through creators, with clear tracking, simple execution, and payouts tied to actual views.
After running campaigns manually, we built a platform to make the model scalable.
Since launching in early 2025, we've grown to 100,000+ creators, paid out $5M+, acquired 120+ clients, and run campaigns for names like Telegram, UFC, Universal Music Group, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Playboi Carti, and Kendrick Lamar.
Our growth has been 100% organic.
- Now we need someone to make sure the right people hear about what we're building.
The role
We are looking for a Backend-Heavy Senior Engineer who isn't afraid to touch the full stack. While your primary domain will be our Golang services and distributed architecture, you are a "Product Engineer" at heart â meaning you understand the "why" behind the code and can jump into the React/Next.js frontend whenever it's the shortest path to delivering value.
The mindset we hire for
- Intensity & Grit â You run toward hard problems and stay until they are solved.
- Ambitious Simplification â You have the intelligence to solve complex problems and the wisdom to choose the simplest solution.
- Ownership & Mission Alignment â You don't "close tickets"; you ship outcomes. You care about the creator economy as much as we do.
- AI Readiness â You leverage modern tools to multiply your output and keep us at the cutting edge.
- Humility & Collaboration â You are a high-bandwidth communicator who mentors others and leaves your ego at the door.
Your technical toolkit
- Core Backend â 5+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years of mastery in Golang. Comfortable with high-performance distributed systems.
- Fullstack Versatility â Backend is your home, but you have the skills to navigate and contribute to a React/Next.js frontend.
- Infrastructure & Data â Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and ideally GCP.
- Architectural Mindset â You move seamlessly from system design to shipping production-ready code. Clean code, test coverage, and documentation are your tools for maintaining velocity.
Bonus points
- Experience with payment systems (we handle around $1M in monthly payouts).
- Event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
Why Clipster
- Total ownership â Join a lean tech team of fewer than 15 people. What you build today, millions will use tomorrow.
- Remote & async â Work where you are most effective. We only ask for availability during our core hours (10am â 2pm UTC+2).
- Zero bureaucracy â No endless meetings. We value documentation, Slack, and Loom for high-bandwidth, low-noise collaboration.
Our culture
We've always strived to build a company we enjoy working for. Here's what that means for us:
- High-quality software. Clean code, polished features, software we're proud to ship. Everyone here cares deeply about their work.
- Low hierarchy, high collaboration. Open communication, zero red tape, and easy access to everyone in the team. We support, mentor, and uplift each other.
- Small team, high independence and ownership. 12 people in the tech team, so what you do matters. Lots of space to grow in responsibility and ownership.
- Fully remote, flexible, async. Work when and where you're most effective. Our core hours are 10am - 2pm UTC+2.
Next steps
- Discovery call â a brief chat with our recruiter.
- Pair programming â a hands-on session with one of our engineers.
- System design â a discussion about an architectural problem, based on our day-to-day problems.
- Engineering excellence discussion.
- Final meet â chat with our Founder and PM to talk mission and values.
