About the Company

Cloud Campaign is a Series A startup, backed by the most prestigious VC firms in the region. Our core product is a white-labeled social media management platform built for digital agencies, franchises, and SaaS companies that embed social tools into their own products. Our customers run from solo freelancers managing a handful of local businesses to enterprise brands managing tens of thousands. Over 100,000 marketers use it to schedule and publish content, run client approvals, manage social inboxes, and report on performance across every major social platform, all under their own branding. Our goal is to make starting and growing a marketing agency accessible to anyone. Cloud Campaign was ranked as one of the “Top Small Companies to Work For in Colorado” by BuiltIn during their 2022 annual report. We were recently named as one of Will Reed’s Top 100 Early-Stage Companies to work for in 2023, and Denver Business Journal’s fastest growing company in 2024, as well as Denver and Portland Business Journals Best Places to work 2026!

Core values that we live by:

  • Win as a Team
  • Can-Do Mindset
  • Own the Outcome
  • Raise the Bar

About the Role

We're hiring a Staff Engineer to own CloudStudio, our agentic social media manager, and to be a hands-on technical leader across engineering.

CloudStudio automates social media fulfillment end to end. It takes a short brand intake, generates a monthly strategy brief, produces the posts, captions, and images, then routes everything through the same approval workflows, scheduling, and publishing infrastructure that already serves the rest of our customers. An agency can go from onboarding a new client to a full month of scheduled content in about thirty minutes. It's in early access, and customer demand is already growing faster than what we originally built it for.

The hard problems are still open. The bar we're aiming at is a system good enough that an agency trusts it without checking its work, which means the real questions are about quality and how you prove it. How do you evaluate whether generated content is on brand at volume, when correctness is a judgment call rather than a passing test? How much of the content process should the system own, and how do you earn the trust to expand that scope? How do you hold quality, cost, and latency steady as the volume climbs? Answering these is the job.

We're also rebuilding the core platform, and CloudStudio needs to work across both the current system and the new one. We have nine engineers, one of them full-time QA. You'll set technical direction alongside a principal engineer and your manager, and there's very little between deciding something and building it.

What You'll Do

  • Own the technical direction and architecture of CloudStudio as it scales from early access to a core part of the product.
  • Decide what CloudStudio should become, make the case for it across the company, and work directly with our CEO and other business units to get behind it.
  • Design how the system holds a quality bar at volume, including how we evaluate generated content, catch bad output before a customer sees it, and manage cost and latency across model calls.
  • Push the product toward genuine autonomy, expanding what the system handles on its own as the quality earns it.
  • Set the standard for where and how AI belongs in the rest of the product. The approach isn't settled and we want it argued.
  • Contribute to the platform rebuild and make sure CloudStudio works cleanly across both platforms during the transition.
  • Expand automated test coverage and own the quality bar for a team with one QA engineer.
  • Mentor engineers through code review, design discussions, and pairing, and step outside your specialty when that's where the highest-priority problem is.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • 7+ years building and operating production software, full-stack, with a track record of setting technical direction.
  • Experience leading technical projects involving multiple engineers: scoping the work, breaking it down, and coordinating delivery.
  • Strong system design judgment. You make architecture decisions, defend the trade-offs, and think about how a system needs to evolve over years rather than sprints.
  • Depth in at least one of Go, Java, or Python, with comfort picking up the others, plus real front-end capability in React and TypeScript.
  • Modern AWS experience, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, structured logging, metrics, and alerting, and production experience with both relational and non-relational data stores. We use Postgres and DynamoDB.
  • A working point of view on testing strategy, not just a willingness to write tests.
  • Strong communication. A lot of this job is explaining a direction well enough that people follow it, including people outside engineering.
  • A genuine interest in figuring out what the company should build next. You want more than a well-scoped ticket queue.
  • Experience shipping LLM or agentic systems to production, rather than prototyping them, is a plus.
  • Experience building evaluation for non-deterministic output, or managing cost and latency across model providers, is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range $180,000-220,000 annually, depending on experience
  • 100% employer paid medical, dental and vision for employees and coverage for your dependents
  • FSA
  • Life Insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Stock options
  • Ramp healthy living benefit
  • Technology stipend
  • Yearly company retreat
  • Remote work opportunities
  • Weekly in office lunches
  • Monthly fun events
  • Half Day Fridays
