We’re building AI-centric applications that bridge advanced data infrastructure with user-facing interfaces and intelligent agent systems. As a Senior Front-End & Agent Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing immersive, AI-enabled front ends, integrating directly with frameworks that orchestrate large language models (LLMs) and agent-driven workflows. You’ll have the freedom to experiment with new AI toolkits and architect engaging user experiences that bring real business value.

What You'll DoFront-End Development (React-Focused)

• Build Interactive UIs: Develop and optimise robust, dynamic interfaces using React (and related libraries such as Next.js or Redux), ensuring an exceptional user experience.
• Design AI-driven User Flows: Craft intuitive interfaces that launch and interact with AI Agents, showing real-time data insights and user prompts or actions.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure responsive, efficient front-end performance, leveraging best practices for load times, caching, and server-side rendering where applicable.

Agent and AI Integration

• Agent Framework Implementation: Integrate frameworks like LangChain or similar agent orchestration layers to build customer-facing AI experiences (e.g., data exploration agents, generative assistants).
• Conversational UI Patterns: Design and implement chat-based UIs or workflows that allow customers to engage seamlessly with AI Agents.
• Data & Model Interaction: Collaborate with backend teams to fetch, transform, and present data from LLMs or other AI models in a user-friendly manner.

AWS-Backed Systems & Backend Collaboration

• Serverless & Cloud Services: Collaborate on backend design with an AWS-centric approach (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, and more) to support agent and front-end needs.
• API Development: When necessary, build or extend backend services (like Flask, FastAPI) to integrate new AI or data features into the front end.
• Scalable Infrastructure: Work with DevOps to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines, efficient containerization (Docker), and robust deployment processes on AWS.

What You Bring

• A Passion for innovating, crafting incredible user experiences.
• Experience and Craft working with front-end experience with React (Redux, Next.js, or similar frameworks).
• Working knowledge of agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AWS Multi-Agent Orchestrator, Semantic Kernel), large language models (OpenAI, GPT-based), or other AI/ML tools.
• Hands on experience with Prompt Engineering Techniques and evolving prompts in complex fast moving agent applications.
• Experience of backend development in Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django), with a track record of designing or integrating APIs.
• AWS Expertise: Comfortable with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, etc.) and architectures (serverless, microservices).
• Strong Testing Practices: Familiarity with TDD/BDD frameworks (Jest, Cypress, PyTest) and continuous integration pipelines.
• Excellent Communication: Able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
