Mobile Developer (.NET MAUI)

We would like to meet a Mid Mobile Developer (.NET MAUI) for a project with a remote working model from Portugal.

Responsabilities:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver new features and improvements.
• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Ensure application quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Manage and support application releases and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while optimizing application performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
• Support modernization and enhancement projects within the mobile ecosystem.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in mobile development, including both native and hybrid/reactive applications (e.g., Kotlin (Android) / Swift (iOS), React Native or Flutter);
• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Experience with .NET MAUI and/or Xamarin, with a solid understanding of cross-platform development;
• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices (e.g., MVC, MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture);
• Hands-on experience with mobile application deployment processes (App Store, Google Play, Enterprise deployments, or other internal distribution methods);
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development and deployment;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and experience working in an Agile development environment;
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills;
• Experience in unit testing and improving software quality;
• Ability to take ownership, make key decisions, and drive technical direction within a growing team.

What will be a plus:

• Hands-on experience with .NET MAUI in production environments;
• Experience migrating applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI;
• Experience working with .NET technologies and the ability to integrate MAUI applications into the broader .NET ecosystem;
• Previous experience in defining deployment strategies for internal applications;
• Exposure to Web development technologies and expertise in aligning mobile and web release processes.
