Senior Software Engineer | £80k–£110k + Equity | Remote
develop are working with a profitable, growing technology business looking to add another experienced Software Engineer to their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a smaller product engineering environment where you can have genuine ownership and influence.
They’re looking for a strong Backend or Full Stack Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, thinking about the wider architecture and working across different parts of a product.
The exact tech stack is less important than your overall engineering ability.

- Systems architecture
They’re particularly interested in people who;
- Have experience building customer focussed products/systems with multiple moving parts
- Understand system design and can explain the trade-offs behind technical decisions
- Have worked across different technologies and can pick up new ones quickly
- Enjoy being hands-on but want input into architecture and technical direction
- Are comfortable taking ownership without needing lots of structure
- Have ideally worked in a startup, scale-up, fintech or similarly fast-paced environment
