Frontend Engineer | React & TypeScript | Remote (Once per month in London) | Up to £65,000
I’m working with a fast-growing technology business operating in the cybersecurity space, looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build intuitive, high-quality web applications.
What you’ll be doing
- Building polished, responsive components and web pages using React.
- Improving application functionality, usability and performance.
- Collaborating with backend and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Gathering user feedback and translating it into effective product improvements.
- Creating functional requirements, mock-ups and prototypes.
- Supporting backend engineers with coding and troubleshooting where needed.
- Optimising applications for scalability, accessibility, security and maintainability.
- Keeping up to date with frontend technologies and best practices.
What they’re looking for
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript and CSS.
- Good understanding of the full web development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.
- Experience with browser testing, debugging and testing frameworks such as React Testing Library.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, layout and SEO fundamentals.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
