Senior Full stack Developer – Submission Evaluation
Location: Remote (EST)
I'm partnering with a fast-growing tech company building an agentic MGA platform that turns applicant documentation into underwriting decisions. They're looking for a senior fullstack engineer to help build the submission evaluation ecosystem from the ground up.
About the Team
The team is building an agentic system that ingests raw applicant documentation and produces underwriting decisions. AI is the core of the product, not just a dev tool.
Engineers get real ownership and are expected to move fast with strong judgement. Great fit for someone excited to shape AI-driven decisioning in a regulated, high-stakes space like insurance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build the submission evaluation ecosystem, from intake through underwriting decision
- Design agentic workflows that extract and reason over unstructured applicant data
- Work closely with product, design**, and underwriting** in a cross-functional setup
- Use AI tools to accelerate development and iteration
- Build scalable APIs, backend services, and modern web applications
- Contribute to document ingestion, integrations, automation**, and risk signals**
- Ship quickly, learn from real submission outcomes, keep improving
- Own the performance and reliability of your systems
- Weigh in on technical decisions and engineering practices
What They're Looking For
- Strong full stack fundamentals and technical judgement
- Experience building and scaling applications/APIs end-to-end
- Strength in one part of the stack, flexibility across others
- Ownership mindset, comfort with ambiguity
- Insurtech preferred; classical insurance background also a strong fit
- Bonus: experience with agentic AI, document processing, or decisioning workflows
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to balance speed with quality
