We are looking for a senior front-end engineer. Someone who can fully own the front-end of Polyester. This isn’t a support role. This is your domain. You will architect, build, and maintain the entire user-facing layer of a global trading platform expected to handle massive scale and insane traffic loads, all while performing at the absolute edge of what’s possible in the browser.

This is not a 9–5 job. Our team moves at a breakneck pace. Everyone here fully owns their department, and we expect the same from you. You will be working late nights, pushing boundaries, and delivering insane results.

We want someone who is a one man army. You will be working alongside extremely talented individuals, all with great past success in their fields.

During your interview, you will be asked to show something extremely impressive that you have created by yourself in the past. We are looking for an engineer who doubles as an artist, and can experiment with beautiful UI components on the fly, and help innovate with our team to create the most beautiful and performant exchange in history.

If you like have each task assigned to you one-by-one, and you need a Figma file to copy the UI, this role is not for you. We want someone with agency, who can spend the night tinkering and can demo a new unique concept the next day to the team. Someone who really is passionate about UI, and wants to push the boundaries of what an exchange looks and feels like.

Obviously crypto experience is a major plus, but not a requirement. This role is focused on pure talent and ability as a front-end engineer, rather than someone with extensive blockchain experience.

What You’ll Do

• Full ownership of Polyester’s front-end: from architecture to deployment, this is yours to run.
• Build high-performance, scalable trading UIs using Svelte 5, designed for low latency and massive load.
• Invent and experiment with new designs, components, and interaction models—delivering experiences traders have never seen before.
• Ensure optimal rendering, WebSocket performance, and state management even under extreme traffic.
• Collaborate with backend and blockchain engineers to translate complex trading logic into intuitive, seamless UI/UX.
• Continuously push the limits of performance, reliability, and creativity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks, with mastery of Svelte 5.
• Proven track record of building high-traffic, high-performance web applications.
• Relentless drive and initiative: you don’t wait for tasks or directions. You invent, experiment, and lead.
• Ability to thrive in a fast, aggressive, no-hand-holding culture.
• Creativity at the core: you love designing and shipping bold new UI/UX ideas.
• US-based only (no visa sponsorship).
