Role Overview:

Join our founding team as a Product Engineer driving the design, development, and optimization of innovative products. This hands-on role requires full-stack expertise across frontend, backend, and devops, combined with strong product engineering and UX design insight. You will be the technical and product owner, working remotely with cross-functional teams, managing sprints, and steering end-to-end product lifecycle from research through release.

What You'll Do:

• Architect, develop, and own core product features with React Native, Next.js, Node.js (NestJS), and Java Spring Boot
• Design scalable microservices and APIs connecting frontend, mobile app, and backend
• Manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases for efficient, secure data handling
• Lead DevOps initiatives on Azure for cost-efficient build, deployment, monitoring, and scaling
• Drive product design and user experience using UX/UI principles and user-centered design
• Enforce GDPR and cybersecurity best practices for UK and EU markets
• Manage remote engineering teams, plan sprints, and track progress with Jira
• Conduct R&D, analyze data, and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Prepare for future fintech features including payments and financial analytics integrations

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of startup & multi-product experience as a Product Engineer, Full Stack Developer, DevOps Specialist, and Product Owner
• Expertise in React Native, React/Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, Java Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of relational databases: MySQL & PostgreSQL
• Experience architecting microservices and end-to-end product lifecycle ownership
• Skilled in Azure cloud services, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cost optimization
• Solid understanding of product design, UI/UX, and agile product management
• Experience working in compliance with GDPR and cybersecurity standards in UK/EU markets
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote development teams and sprint cycles
• Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and independent working capability
• Fintech experience or AI-driven product exposure is a plus.
