Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design and build end-to-end product experiences across web and mobile platforms using modern technologies.

• Apply strong engineering fundamentals to ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.

• Uphold coding standards, architectural patterns, and quality metrics to maintain engineering excellence.

• Drive technical design from concept to implementation, including writing design docs and conducting code reviews.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows, incorporating DevSecOps practices.

• Support hosting, deployment, and runtime operations by enhancing observability and reliability.

What You'll Need

• A systems-level mindset with the ability to balance short-term needs against long-term architectural health.

• Strong product and business awareness to align technical decisions with organizational goals.

• Expert-level proficiency in modern application development, including TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, React Native, and Flutter.

• Strong experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST-based APIs.

• Deep understanding of database design and performance, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant portion in senior-level roles.
