About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join an innovative environmental monitoring business. As the first dedicated developer within the team, you will play a pivotal role in rebuilding and enhancing their core data platform. Your responsibilities will include developing scalable, efficient systems to ingest and process large volumes of real-time data, creating intuitive user interfaces, and developing robust APIs to facilitate external integrations. • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
• Solid front-end skills, particularly in Vue.js, with a good understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Linux server management and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Version control expertise, particularly with Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation and technical decision-making.
• Experience with API development and integration is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using Laravel and Vue.js.
• Improve and optimize the existing data ingestion and processing systems to handle large volumes of real-time data efficiently.
• Create user-friendly interfaces that enable stakeholders to visualize and interpret complex data sets easily.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to architectural planning to ensure system robustness and scalability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, systems, and workflows to facilitate ongoing development and knowledge sharing.
• Implement best practices in security, performance, and code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in regular code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure stability and reliability.
