Title - Lead Software Engineer

The Senior Software Development Engineer will serve as a key technical resource across these initiatives, helping define system design and long-term architecture while remaining hands-on throughout implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system design and architecture for new customer-facing application capabilities and supporting services
- Translate evolving product and business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design long-term engineering solutions that replace or reduce manual trial processes
- Develop and integrate functionality within existing application environments
- Design services supporting customer enrollment, feedback collection, consent management, and related workflows
- Build and integrate backend services and APIs
- Support web-based experiences and webviews integrated within an application
- Design solutions connecting customer-facing experiences with supporting backend systems and services
- Partner with engineering, product, and program stakeholders to refine requirements
- Provide technical direction to other engineers and support implementation against established system designs
- Contribute hands-on throughout development, testing, integration, and deployment
- Operate effectively in an evolving environment where requirements and functionality will continue to develop
Core Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong system design and software architecture experience
- Experience designing and building scalable applications or distributed systems
- Strong experience developing and integrating REST APIs or similar backend services
- Experience connecting front-end/application experiences with backend systems
- Experience working within modern application or web application environments
- Ability to independently own technical problems from design through delivery
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and product teams
- Demonstrated ownership and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
Preferred
- Experience with webviews, embedded web experiences, or functionality integrated within mobile applications
- Experience building customer-facing applications at scale
- Experience with cloud-based architectures and services
- Experience mentoring or providing technical direction to other engineers
- Experience with customer enrollment, experimentation, beta programs, surveys, feedback platforms, consent management, or similar workflows
- Experience building systems that support AI/ML-related data collection or workflows
