We are seeking a Mid or Senior Front-end Developer to join our AI Products team within the Digital & Data Hub. You will develop modern user interfaces for AI and data-driven products, contribute actively to the codebase, and support the team in delivering high-quality solutions for internal Jacobs initiatives and selected client-facing engagements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Implement responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces from Figma designs
- Write production-quality code and contribute actively to feature development, not only review activities
- Support the Senior Front-end Developer through constructive code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge sharing
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions affecting frontend solutions
- Collaborate with backend developers, data specialists, product owners and designers in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Help improve frontend engineering standards, testing practices, reusable components and maintainability
- Contribute to AI product development, where clear user experience and trustworthy interaction with AI capabilities are essential
- At least 3 years of commercial experience in front-end development; candidates may be considered at Mid or Senior level
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Commercial experience and strong knowledge of Vue.js
- Experience translating Figma designs into robust, responsive web interfaces
- Good understanding of responsive design, accessibility and frontend performance principles
- Ability to work effectively with backend, data and product teams
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in English-speaking, distributed teams
- A proactive approach, ownership mindset and interest in building AI-enabled products
- Experience designing or developing interfaces for AI applications
- Experience with Palantir Foundry
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native application delivery
- Understanding of containerisation concepts, such as Docker or Kubernetes
