Full Stack Developer - Home Based UK

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications that drive impactful solutions for healthcare and life sciences. You will work across the full technology stack, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable software that meets project requirements and timelines. Collaborating with offshore and local development teams, you will review code, provide guidance, and implement best practices to continuously improve development processes. The position involves active participation in agile teams, technical knowledge sharing, and contributing to architecture and design discussions. • Supervise and coordinate offshore and local development resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Review project requirements, provide feedback, and facilitate understanding across development teams and vendors
• Conduct code reviews and promote adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Analyze existing solutions and recommend improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Escalate potential time, cost, or quality issues to project leadership as needed
• Lead technical knowledge transfer sessions and mentor team members
• Participate in project effort estimations and planning activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development across any technology stack
• Strong coding and software development skills in Python
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with front-end frameworks, preferably React
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of databases and best practices in data management
• Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Previous experience working within agile software development environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
