The Role
TL;DR: Full-stack engineer working across Laravel, front-end frameworks, and AWS to build high-quality product features.
The Senior Laravel Full Stack Developer plays a key role in delivering high-quality product enhancements across our Laravel backend and front-end stack.
This role will contribute to new feature development, improve platform performance, and enhance our engineering practices. You’ll work closely with developers and product leads to refine architecture, improve tooling, uplift testing, and ensure a consistent, modern codebase.

When and Where
This is a full-time remote role.
Your Duties
TL;DR: Build new features, improve existing systems, and contribute to engineering best practice.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code across both backend (Laravel/PHP) and front-end frameworks (React, Vue or Angular).
- Collaborate with product leads to scope, design, and deliver new functionality.
- Maintain and enhance existing features to improve overall performance and user experience.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions that shape the product.
- Build and refine CI/CD workflows, automated testing suites, and deployment processes.
- Implement and champion engineering best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and team ceremonies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting new tools, patterns, or processes.
Skills and Experience

Essential:
- 4+ years’ experience with Laravel
- Experience with a front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Strong knowledge of AWS
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD
- Exposure to automated testing and either TDD or BDD
- Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
- Comfortable working autonomously in a small, collaborative team
- Full working rights in Australia
Desirable:
- Experience with React Native
- Experience with Serverless
- Interest in continuous improvement and best engineering practices
- You have experienced taking your own side project from an idea to paying customer
