Job Description

We're looking for a full-time developer to own and grow our mobile (React Native) and other front-end (Vue.js) development, helping design and shape the Kinvault user journey. Our whole stack is built on TypeScript, so you'd be comfortable navigating NestJS, though it wouldn't be your main remit.

This is a step-up opportunity with real autonomy. As part of a small in-house team reporting directly to the CTO, you'll take ownership of our mobile app (currently outsourced) and meaningfully shape the experience of the Kinvault product - including the Vue.js web app and our other front ends. You won't be micromanaged, and we offer highly flexible working hours.

We use AI tooling to move faster - you'll own and stand behind everything you ship. As an ISO 27001 certified company, you'd bring a security-first approach to all development.

What you'll do

• Own and grow the mobile app experience
• Build and maintain user-facing features in React Native, Vue.js and TypeScript
• Improve shared UI patterns, components, consistency and overall product quality
• Work with the business operations lead and CTO to focus product features and workflows
• Write tests and help with quality assurance

Essential criteria

You'll need to meet all of these to be considered:

• Strong commercial experience with React Native and TypeScript
• At least 3 years of commercial experience in a frontend-focused software role
• A track record of building responsive, accessible, high-quality product interfaces, with strong attention to UX and usability
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
• Ability to contribute to backend APIs, integrations and service logic
• The right to work in the UK

Nice to have

• Vue.js experience
• Figma, Tailwind CSS
• NestJS, TypeORM, MySQL
• Vitest, Playwright
• SaaS, multi-tenant or white-label platforms
• Knowledge of mobile app stores
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industry

Package

• Salary £40,000–£55,000 depending on experience
• Company laptop
