Who Are We Looking For?

We're searching for a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer with 8+ years commercial experience who will jump straight into our team and make a significant contribution to the growth, modernization, and development of our product.

While the role is fully remote, you must be based in either Sydney or Brisbane Australia and have Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residence visa.

You'll be working on a market-leading product with a highly engaged customer base, so everything you build will have an instant, positive impact. Performance, security, and scalability will always be top of mind.

We have an ambitious roadmap that includes:

• Delivering new features while maintaining existing functionality
• Migrating from legacy .NET Framework 4.8 projects to .NET 8+
• Containerizing applications using Docker and deploying to Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service
• Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery
• Modernizing our infrastructure and development practices

Technical Skills Required:Core Technologies (Must Have)

• 8+ years full stack development experience
• .NET Framework 4.8 
• .NET Core / .NET 8+
• C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor
• JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
• Entity Framework, MS SQL Server, T-SQL
• Strong SOA Architecture experience
• RESTful API development (Mobile & Public APIs)
• RabbitMQ (event driven / message queue architecture)
• Windows Services development and deployment
• Unit Testing and test-driven development
• High-volume data and enterprise-level projects
• Performance optimization and scalability patterns

DevOps & Cloud (Must Have)

• Docker (containerization, multi-stage builds, production experience)
• Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (production deployments, orchestration, scaling)
• Azure Cloud Infrastructure (App Services, SQL Database, Application Insights)
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)

AI-Assisted Development (Must Have or Highly Desirable)

• Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex or similar AI CLI tools
• Experience using AI to accelerate development, debugging, and code reviews
• Passion for championing AI-augmented workflows within the team

Development Practices

• Agile methodologies and working in agile teams
• Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
• Git source control and branching strategies
• Code reviews and collaborative development
• OWASP security principles
• Technical documentation (architectural decisions, API specs, runbooks)

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
