The Role
You'll lead a team of Full Stack Software Engineers responsible for designing and delivering the user-facing and backend systems that power our clients platform.
You'll combine hands-on technical leadership with people management, setting direction across the full technology stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services and integrations. This is a high-impact role working closely with senior engineering leadership, to deliver scalable, secure and reliable SaaS capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction and standards for the team, covering both frontend and backend
- Lead the design and build of APIs and backend services that can scale
- Guide how the platform is built and run in the cloud
- Run code and design reviews, and keep quality high through testing and CI/CD
- Keep an eye on system performance, reliability and security, and drive improvements
- Manage and mentor the team, including career growth and performance reviews
- Handle hiring, onboarding and planning for the team
Skills & Experience
- Cloud-based or SaaS environment experience
- 1-2 years in leadership roles
- Frontend development experience using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular or similar)
- Backend development experience using Node.js, Python, Go or similar technologies
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWTs and secure session management
