Head of Software Engineering (C# React Native)

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a strategic product and tech leader to help shape and scale this platform - someone fluent in C# .NET, React Native, and of course startup problem solving. You’ll lead with vision and code with curiosity. You’ll prototype quickly, test often, and help us navigate the edge of what’s possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES1. Project Delivery

• Spend the majority of your time writing clean, scalable code and actively contributing to product development
• Own product delivery - making sure we hit timelines, budgets and benchmarks
• Manage scope, resources and schedules across multiple initiatives, balancing priorities as we move fast
• Implement and uphold QA processes, ensuring we ship high-quality software that meets both business and user needs

2. Technical Leadership

• Guide our technical direction and architecture with a strong foundation in best practices and business alignment
• Lead by example in code reviews, problem-solving and evaluating new technologies
• Partner closely with product managers to translate vision into technical execution, from roadmap to release

3. Team Management

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team that thrives on trust and shared ownership
• Help recruit and onboard new team members who align with our tech stack experience and culture
• Conduct regular 1:1s, offer meaningful feedback, and support team members’ growth and development
• Improve and scale our agile workflows, fostering a team culture of momentum, learning and collaboration

QUALIFICATIONSRequired:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years leading teams or projects
• Hands-on coding and project delivery experience with C# .NET, React Native
• Proven success delivering projects from idea to production, in environments where speed and quality both matter
• Strong communication, leadership and decision making skills

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, MBA, or related field.
• Experience with NestJS, React, Cloud, and mobile app development.
• Startup experience or knowledge of fintech/banking domains.
