Technical Co-Founder (Equity) — AI Voice App | 0→1 Build

I’m not looking for a developer. I’m looking for a technical co-founder.

I’m building ÉCHO by RÉACLYSE — a voice journaling app that records your thoughts over time and surfaces your own words back to you at moments of self-doubt or decision-making.

The core mechanic:

The AI never generates insights about the user. It identifies patterns across entries and returns their own words — verbatim, across time.

Pattern recognition, not generation. (Think: embeddings / semantic similarity / clustering — not LLM-generated outputs.) This constraint is central to the product and shapes the entire technical architecture.

Where the product is today

• Full product concept defined (UX flows, feature spec, AI behaviour rules, subscription model)
• No-code prototype built (React + TypeScript + Tailwind) — functional investor demo
• Brand and go-to-market direction in place
• Existing audience through the parent brand, RÉACLYSE

What’s missing is the technical owner to take this from prototype to product.

What you’ll own

• Architecture and build of the mobile app (iOS-first) and backend
• Core features:
• voice recording
• transcription (ideally on-device)
• structured storage (audio + transcripts)
• AI-powered pattern detection and entry retrieval (ÉCHO)
• Technical decisions across stack, infrastructure, and data privacy (GDPR-compliant, European-first audience)
• Product direction alongside the founder

First 30–60 days (expected focus)

• Define MVP architecture and tech stack
• Set up backend (auth, storage, data model)
• Build voice → transcription → storage pipeline
• Implement first version of ÉCHO retrieval logic (simple but working)

The technical challenge

The interesting work here is not recording or transcription — it’s the ÉCHO system:

Building a system that clusters themes across a user’s entries over time, identifies meaningful temporal connections, and surfaces the right past entry at the right moment — without ever generating new text.

This is essentially a retrieval and ranking problem over deeply personal, unstructured data, where relevance is contextual and evolves over time.

If that constraint feels interesting rather than limiting, this role is probably for you.

What we’re building toward

• MVP live within 3–6 months
• Early user cohort actively using the app
• First subscription revenue within 12 months
• Seed round once traction is established

Who this is for

• Full-stack developer with mobile experience (React Native or Swift/Kotlin)
• Comfortable building from scratch (0→1)
• Experience with or strong interest in NLP / embeddings / semantic search / lightweight ML systems
• Able to work independently and take ownership of decisions
• Based in Europe or able to work within European time zones
• Interested in building long-term (this is a co-founder role, not a contract)

Commitment & compensation

• Equity at co-founder level (to be agreed)
• No salary at this stage
• Part-time possible initially → moving toward full-time as traction builds
