Application Developer Technical Lead

About the Opportunity:

The organization is seeking a Senior Application Developer to lead projects, mentor team members, and deliver scalable software solutions. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing modern applications aligned with business strategies and IT standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in project planning, task identification, and workflow management to meet deadlines.

• Collaborate with architects to design solutions aligned with IT strategies and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Build, review, and integrate high-quality applications with other platforms.

• Establish and enforce development standards, conduct testing, and review modules for compliance.

• Design and develop relational databases for optimization and scalability.

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior developers.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend solutions, and promote effective use of IT systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

• 8 or more years of application programming and analysis experience.

• Experience with Composable Commerce solutions and modern technologies.

• Expertise in React for user interface development.

• Strong background in Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio/Code and C#.

• Experience with microservice architecture, B2B2C solutions, and headless architecture platforms (such as CommerceTools, ContentStack).

• Proficiency in NoSQL and relational database design, object-oriented design patterns, event streaming, and integration methodologies.

• Advanced programming skills in multiple languages with a focus on test-driven development.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into solution options.

• Experience mentoring and leading technical teams.

• Experience in front-end/back-end development, networking, and databases.

• Preferred: Experience with CommerceTools, ContentStack, React state management libraries (Redux or Context API), Microsoft development ecosystem, system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and version control strategies.
