About the Opportunity:
The organization provides a data streaming platform that enables real-time information movement, allowing companies to react faster and build dynamic experiences. The Enterprise Account Executive within the sales team is responsible for selling solutions to the FSI segment, focusing on driving revenue growth and expanding customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue growth in large, complex, and highly visible accounts.
• Prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline while increasing consumption in existing customer accounts.
• Lead and execute complex sales cycles, demonstrating value at the C-level.
• Become an expert in the organization''s offerings, product suites, and competitive landscape.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies and business goals to act as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with partner ecosystem teams for direct or ecosystem sales.
• Work closely with Solutions Engineering on technical wins, Professional Services for customer experience, and Customer Success Management for expansion and renewals.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles in a competitive market with a focus on growing consumption within accounts or territory.
• Experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
• Sales methodology training (such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.).
• Experience leading and executing complex sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota attainment.
• Ability to articulate, educate, and sell business value to organizations of all sizes.
• Experience developing and improving processes and managing organizational change.
• Strong relationship-building, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
