About the Opportunity:
The FULL-STACK ENGINEER role involves building and enhancing cloud-based industrial IoT applications that power the organization's platform. This position is responsible for developing features across the technology stack, improving system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions. The role contributes directly to the platform’s ability to support manufacturing uptime and predictive maintenance capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new cloud application features using technologies including React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS serverless services.
- Deliver technical solutions and improve features through production with guidance on complex design decisions.
- Create scalable, observable technical solutions and maintain documentation such as design and migration plans.
- Monitor and support production systems with incident response and reliability improvements.
- Facilitate code deployment and continuous integration.
- Conduct automated testing and peer code reviews to ensure software quality.
- Optimize existing application features for performance and usability.
- Enhance software development lifecycle processes through tools and best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to maintain clear API, event, and data contracts.
- Contribute to engineering standards and shared technical patterns.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate and improve coding tasks.
- Review AI-assisted outputs to ensure quality, security, and alignment with standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience with React, TypeScript, and relational databases like MySQL or SQL Server.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in building cloud-native applications on AWS platforms including API Gateway, Lambda, and ECS.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and responsible AI-assisted coding.
- Familiarity with browser compatibility, mobile standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Experience with issue tracking (e.g., Jira) and source control (e.g., GitHub).
- Skills in improving application performance, reliability, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and communicate effectively.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $155,000 USD, plus equity and benefits.
- Variable pay, bonuses, and other compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
