Senior Field Marketing Manager

About the Opportunity:

The organization is building the future of AI-powered Content Operations with an AI Content Operating System that enables teams to model, create, and automate content aligned with their business needs. This accelerates digital development and enhances content operations efficiency. Leading companies across various industries use this platform to power and automate their content operations. Recently, the organization raised an $85M Series C funding round led by GP Bullhound and backed by top investors, positioning it for accelerated growth.

Responsibilities:

• Own and execute the industry events strategy including major conferences, AI conferences, and developer events such as AI devWorld, JS Nation, VercelAI, React/Vite, CascadiaJS AI, D-Congress, Emerce Day, and others

• Collaborate with the partnerships team on co-marketing events including Partner Summits and agency-driven events

• Lead pre- and post-event sales alignment strategies to maximize event ROI through targeted outreach and follow-up campaigns converting attendees to pipeline

• Manage overall field marketing budgets of $1M+ annually, optimizing spend for pipeline generation and MQL targets

• Measure and report on event performance against S2 generation, MQL targets, and pipeline contribution, using data to improve event selection and execution

• Direct end-to-end on-site logistics, managing real-time execution and serving as the liaison between organizers and sponsors to ensure operational excellence

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation focused on industry events

• Proven experience managing large event portfolios and significant budgets

• Knowledge of the web, content management, developer tools, or AI ecosystems and target audiences

• Strong ability to align with sales teams to convert event presence into qualified pipeline

• Background in growth-stage or enterprise companies with sophisticated GTM strategies

• Data-driven approach with experience measuring and optimizing based on results

• Excellent project management skills to handle multiple events, vendors, and stakeholders concurrently

• Willingness to travel regularly within the US and internationally

• Located within the Continental United States

Nice to have:

• Experience marketing to developers and technical decision-makers

• Background in CMS, DXP, or content-focused companies

• Experience with executive event programs and C-level engagement

• Familiarity with ABM strategies and account-based event marketing
