Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the Opportunity:

This team strives to support individuals, families, and communities with their mental health needs through high-quality mental healthcare services. The Sr. Full Stack Engineer will deliver scalable software solutions across web and backend layers, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to create intuitive and reliable user experiences and service-oriented capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions across the full stack (Node.js, TypeScript, React, microservices, cloud infrastructure).

• Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.

• Take ownership of feature development, technical design, and implementation while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

• Architect and implement backend services and APIs, integrating with external and internal systems following microservice best practices.

• Develop modern, responsive web applications to enhance user experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical implementations aligned with business goals.

• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions to promote engineering excellence.

• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and apply best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full stack development experience with strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and microservice architectures.

• Experience with React workflows using Redux or Flux.

• Strong front-end development skills including modern JavaScript frameworks, UI component design, and performance optimization.

• Deep understanding of backend development including RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and database interactions.

• Proficiency in cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred), containerization, and serverless computing.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex stack issues.

• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring solutions.

• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, and event-driven architecture.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Background in building highly available, scalable, and secure applications.

• Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or regulated industry environments.

Compensation:

• $120,000 to $130,000 annually.

• Competitive bonus plan.
