2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer will take full ownership of designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, high-quality software solutions that support core business and platform capabilities. This role drives technical excellence and collaboration across teams, ensuring solutions deliver meaningful business and customer value while maintaining performance, security, and reliability.
3. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on designing and implementing scalable, reliable software solutions
• Own complex technical areas end-to-end, including architecture, testing, deployment, and support
• Set coding standards, review designs and pull requests, and improve system quality and maintainability
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, architects, SRE, and partners to translate requirements
• Mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing
• Identify and reduce technical debt through refactoring and modernization efforts
• Support system reliability, monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and improvements
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices throughout development and delivery
4. Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with Java and Spring Boot
• 7+ years building and consuming APIs, including RESTful services and distributed systems
• 5+ years front-end development using Angular and/or React
• 5+ years in cloud-native environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, with knowledge of scalability and security
• 5+ years working with data platforms like MySQL and Snowflake, including data workflow design and optimization
• 2+ years using observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Glitchtip
• 2+ years working with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
• 2+ years mentoring engineers and fostering continuous improvement
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare technology and interoperability standards such as FHIR
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The salary for this role ranges from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment
• Pay is influenced by factors including location, education, experience, and certifications
• Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility)
