Senior Software Engineer, Aura for Business

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Software Engineer, Aura for Business will play a key role in building a new, strategic product aimed at creating a Managed Service Provider solution to improve corporate security for personal devices without relying on intrusive Mobile Device Management policies. This role involves full ownership of complex mobile-first and full-stack development features, from design to deployment, and requires translating ambiguous business goals into scalable technical solutions. The position calls for a proactive engineer who will influence the product's direction and contribute significantly to this impactful initiative.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop mobile-first features using React Native and full-stack solutions with Node.js.

• Own complex features end-to-end including design, architecture, development, deployment, and iteration.

• Collaborate across teams to translate business goals into clear technical requirements.

• Serve as a key technical partner in shaping the product strategy.

4. Requirements:

• 6 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• 2 to 3+ years leading engineering teams or large projects.

• Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale projects on schedule and with quality.

• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Expert knowledge of software design best practices, data structures, and algorithms.

• Deep understanding of cloud technologies and selecting appropriate tools such as serverless functions, containerized services, relational and NoSQL databases, caches, and queues.

• Demonstrated ability and motivation to learn new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB.

• Experience with Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory).

• Experience with Python and Databricks.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Pay range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000, varying based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
