2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Card Acquisition) is responsible for leading a team to achieve quarterly goals by navigating complex technical challenges. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development, ensuring system reliability and operational excellence. The position contributes to the organization''s ability to deliver scalable and maintainable software that impacts customer experience and business growth.
3. Responsibilities:
- Lead engineers through ambiguous problems and support them throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during product development
- Manage team operations including monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting
- Identify and solve project, process, technology, or business issues proactively
- Maintain and monitor team deliverables, supporting on-call efforts
- Promote quality and ownership through code review and design standards
- Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and leadership by example
4. Requirements:
- Experience leading major mobile initiatives involving React Native or native platforms
- Ability to work across React Native and native boundaries, including debugging and improving developer tooling
- Experience implementing experimentation, feature flagging, and analytics instrumentation in mobile apps
- Proficiency in shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue
- Skilled with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Minimum of 4 years as a software engineer
- Experience designing and launching backend systems with technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- Capability to define technical plans with simple, extensible designs and write high-quality, maintainable code
- Proven ability to make significant changes in large codebases safely
- Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback seeking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration in a global engineering environment
- Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $195000 - $255000
- USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $173000 - $233000
- Compensation includes base pay, potential equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology spending, and benefits including fully subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
