2. About the Opportunity:

The Staff Software Engineer: Consumer (Money) role focuses on advancing user-centered financial features within the company’s Web3 client platforms. This position contributes to the development of stablecoin and neobank-like functionalities across multiple client interfaces and related backend systems. The role is integral in creating secure, efficient, and intuitive Web3 experiences that enhance user engagement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with product goals and technical standards.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve stablecoin and Earn feature strategies to create neobank-like experiences

• Implement user-focused solutions for client platforms including extension, mobile, and web

• Contribute to backend APIs and middleware supporting consumer features

• Design intuitive, secure Web3 interactions to enhance user satisfaction

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features

• Participate in code reviews and uphold code quality standards

4. Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with mobile-based technologies

• 5+ years experience building websites and/or applications

• Proficiency with React and React Native

• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6/TypeScript)

• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals and Web3 integration

• Understanding of cross-platform and browser compatibility

• Experience with APIs and middleware services

• Background in agile development environments

• Skilled in clean code practices, testing, and coding standards adherence

• Awareness of web security considerations

Bonus points for:

• Experience with staking, lending protocol contracts, and events indexation

• Knowledge of DeFi protocols, token swaps, or fiat on/off ramps

• Understanding of digital financial products

• Interest in blockchain technologies and Web3

• Basic cryptography principles

• AI developer workflow experience

• Experience in distributed teams

• Prior Web3 work experience

• Familiarity with Web3 wallet ecosystems

• Performance optimization skills

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• US pay range (excluding bonus, equity, or other benefits) $164,000—$196,000 USD

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
