2. About the Opportunity:
The Staff Software Engineer on the Integrations Team plays a critical role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance software solutions that support the organization’s platform. This position involves leading technical efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers, and contributing to the organization’s technology strategy. The role is impactful in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and innovation of mission-critical systems that directly affect the user experience and business growth.
3. Responsibilities:
- Lead design, architecture, and development of scalable software systems
- Write and maintain high-quality code meeting functional and non-functional requirements
- Make architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Uphold coding standards and conduct code reviews
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into solutions
- Drive improvements in code quality, development processes, and team efficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate technical strategies
- Participate in agile development activities including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends
4. Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong software design and architecture skills
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Experience with NestJS and PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures including Kubernetes and Terraform
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor
- Deep knowledge of software architecture patterns such as microservices, distributed systems, and domain-driven design
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
