Senior Front-End Developer (ReactJS)

ScolerTec Inc. has multiple openings for Senior Front-End Developers with extensive experience in ReactJS and JavaScript to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, with a focus on Human-Centered Design (HCD), and deep expertise in building dynamic forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using ReactJS, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional user interfaces while adhering to established design principles and best practices.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Design and develop intuitive dynamic forms that provide efficient and accessible user experiences.
• Develop card-based interfaces and implement drag-and-drop functionality.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
• Maintain consistent UI/UX design standards across applications and platforms.
• Ensure security, accessibility, and compliance best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote front-end development best practices.
• Lead user-testing and analysis sessions, evaluate feedback, and recommend improvements to the user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, designers, architects, and customer stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile planning, design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous-improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, UI/UX Design, or a related computer-based field.
• 10+ years of experience developing IT solutions and working with cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in software engineering, application architecture, and solution design.
• Experience building and migrating software applications and IT services to align with strategic business needs and organizational goals.
• Strong understanding of system security, application security, compliance, and secure development best practices.
• Proven ability to research and evaluate advanced technologies and determine how software, hardware, or infrastructure solutions can support business needs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical and application issues.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, distributed, and highly collaborative environment.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX expertise and relevant front-end development projects.

Must-Have Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of UX Design experience, including a deep understanding of UX Design Thinking, UX principles, and usability best practices.
• At least 7 years of hands-on development experience with ReactJS and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Advanced proficiency with HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, responsive design, and related front-end technologies.
• Extensive experience developing dynamic forms with an emphasis on intuitive user experience, validation, accessibility, maintainability, and efficient design.
• Extensive experience creating card-based user interfaces and implementing drag-and-drop functionality.
• Proven experience developing component-based architectures using React.
• Experience working with Event-Driven Architecture and microservice-based frameworks.
• Proficiency with UX frameworks, design systems, templates, and reusable UI patterns.
• Ability to establish and maintain UI/UX design standards.
• Experience leading user-testing, usability-analysis, and feedback sessions.
• Experience with state-management libraries and patterns such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with package managers and build tools such as NPM, Yarn, Vite, Webpack, Babel, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with version-control systems such as Git.
• Experience implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile development environments using DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with microservices, RESTful APIs, or other service-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of browser compatibility, web accessibility, application performance, and responsive design.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Associate- or Professional-level certification in a cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• UI/UX design experience focused on Human-Centered Design principles.
• Experience developing, evaluating, and testing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Experience with server-side Node.js development.
• Knowledge of creating, publishing, and maintaining NPM packages.
• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js.
• Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and Section 508.
• Experience working with cloud-hosted and containerized applications.
