Position Overview We're seeking a passionate Fultack Software Engineer to join Sentiment on a part-time basis (20 hours/week, equity-only). Help us build user-facing applications and robust backend systems that put data ownership back in users' hands while creating the next generation of decentralized survey and analytics platforms.

About Sentiment Sentiment is a Web3-native data marketplace where users control, monetize, and earn from their data. We're solving the $3.1 trillion data quality problem by creating authenticated, user-owned datasets through our tokenized survey platform. Our users become "datapreneurs" - earning rewards for their insights while maintaining complete data sovereignty.

The Challenge You'll develop both frontend and backend components of a platform that handles:

• Interactive survey creation and response collection interfaces

• User authentication and profile management systems

• Data visualization dashboards and analytics reporting

• Token-based reward tracking and user earnings displays

• Real-time notifications and user engagement features

• Secure API endpoints serving web and mobile applications

What You'll Build

• Frontend Applications: Develop responsive React.js interfaces for survey creation, data marketplace browsing, user dashboards, and analytics visualization

• Backend Services: Build scalable Node.js APIs handling user management, survey logic, data processing, and marketplace transactions

• Database Architecture: Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas for survey data, user profiles, transactions, and analytics

• Integration Layer: Connect frontend applications with blockchain services and third-party APIs

• User Experience: Create intuitive interfaces that make complex Web3 concepts accessible to everyday users

Required Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience with full-stack applications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development and API creation

• Expert-level React.js skills with modern hooks, state management, and component architecture

• Advanced PostgreSQL experience including query optimization, database design, and performance tuning

• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

• Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript development

• Knowledge of React ecosystem tools (Redux, Next.js, testing libraries)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or similar)

• Understanding of authentication systems and security best practices

• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, or similar)

• Basic understanding of blockchain concepts and Web3 technologies

• Background in survey platforms, data analytics, or marketplace applications
