About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the FastAuth team within the Specialty Access & Affordability value stream. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and scaling applications designed to expedite the prior authorization process for specialty prescriptions. Your contributions will directly impact reducing the time between a prescription being written and a patient starting therapy, thereby improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
You will collaborate with a talented group of engineers who pride themselves on technical excellence and consistent delivery. The team works across React front ends, .NET services, and event-driven integrations hosted on Azure cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support of critical healthcare applications.
As a senior member, you will lead by example, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our solutions. Your expertise will help foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high-quality software delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Typically 8+ years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, and/or .NET framework
- Experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
- Working knowledge of event-driven architecture, including Kafka or similar technologies
- Experience incorporating AI tools into development workflows
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
- Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using TypeScript, React, and/or .NET technologies
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to design and implement Azure cloud solutions
- Lead and mentor team members through complex technical challenges
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of event-driven architecture, including message brokers like Kafka
- Transform ambiguous business requirements into elegant technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide mentorship to less experienced developers
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software at a predictable cadence
- Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in agile ceremonies, technical planning, and design reviews to ensure best practices
