SENIOR FRONT END ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Bulgaria. Our client is a Toronto-based technology company specializing in AI-powered healthcare consumer experience (CX) platforms. The company is developing systems that predict user behavior in health programs by aggregating historical engagement data into models. Additionally, they are working on personalizing user content by analyzing user profiles and previous content interactions. These innovations aim to tailor health program recommendations and content delivery to individual needs. It offers health insurance, employee health benefits, digital health, patient engagement and care, consumer health, and other services. The company has evolved from serving employers to supporting payers, providers, and consumer health partners across the U.S., Canada, and Asia-Pacific. You’ll build frontend web applications primarily in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on the roadmap and continually maintain and improve a specific product area. Overlap till 8 PM Bulgarian time.Requirements

• 7+ years working with React/Redux, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of modern web frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain frontend web applications.
• Participate in technical design and planning discussions.
• Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with UX designers to build polished user interfaces.
• Adhere to all system operation policies, including but not limited to Access Control, Encryption Control, Logging, Change Management, Platform Security, System Configuration, Physical and Incident Management policies.
• Write high-quality code with automated test coverage.
• Deliver work on well-communicated timelines.
• Write correct and clean code with guidance and consistently follow stated best practices.
• Understand how their work fits into the team and company objectives.
• Prioritize tasks without getting caught up in unimportant details.
• Communicate assumptions and get clarification on tasks up front to minimize the need for rework.
• Solicit feedback from others and give timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers.

Security-related Responsibilities

• Provide compliance with Information Security Policies.
• Write and review code following Secure Coding Guidelines.
• Perform as an incident responder according to the Incident Response Policy.
