About the Opportunity:
The STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER - iOS role involves developing native iOS applications to enhance the ultrasound user experience on mobile devices. This position is central to improving software architecture and team workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate complex features. The engineer contributes to delivering high-quality, user-centered medical imaging solutions that align with the organization's innovation goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify and implement requirements.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to create new imaging experiences.
- Write efficient, well-tested Swift code following team architecture standards.
- Manage a complex codebase including internal Swift packages.
- Mentor engineers at various levels.
- Work with advanced technologies such as deep learning, telemedicine, and device integration.
- Utilize modern technologies like Swift, SwiftUI, Reactive programming, and GraphQL.
- Translate product requirements into actionable development tickets.
- Perform diverse tasks supporting the role’s objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven professional achievement and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 5 years experience in native iOS application development.
- Strong expertise in Swift, reactive frameworks, SwiftUI, UIKit, and unit/UI testing.
- Passion for meaningful software creation.
- Preferred skills: experience with complex application structures, Swift Package Manager, graphics rendering, Python, and C++.
