Compensation: $210,000 - $245,000 / year USD + Equity + Performance Bonuses

Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own and improve the full-stack platform powering AI-driven market research for major national consumer brands. In this high-ownership role, you will act as a product-minded engineer: defining requirements with non-technical stakeholders, iterating directly with users, and shipping features end-to-end. You will work across the full stack (60% front-end in React/TypeScript and 40% back-end in PostgreSQL) while leveraging and building modern AI agents to optimize software development workflows and platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and improve full-stack features end-to-end, from React components and TypeScript interfaces to PostgreSQL schemas and API design.
• Act as a product-minded engineer by defining requirements with non-technical stakeholders, iterating with users, and driving features to completion.
• Build and leverage modern AI agents to optimize software development workflows and deliver core platform capabilities.
• Architect and optimize backend services, RESTful/Socket APIs, and data models to handle growing research data volumes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to solve real user problems for high-profile clients.
• Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing production systems with a focus on usability, stability, and speed.
Qualifications
• 8 to 15 years of full-stack software engineering experience using React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Proven track record of building and deploying end-to-end full-stack features from database to user interface.
• Deep proficiency in React and TypeScript with a heavy front-end focus (roughly 60%).
• Strong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, complex queries, and performance optimization.
• Expertise in leveraging modern AI agents and tools to build, test, and maintain high-quality software.
• Ability to build modern AI agents and integrate them into platform workflows.
• Strong product mindset with demonstrated ability to collaborate directly with non-technical stakeholders on requirements and user outcomes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship (US Citizens or Green Card holders).
• Prior experience working in a small startup or early-stage company (under 50 people) is preferred.
